CHARLES THEODORE FICK
1921 - 1999

Charles Theodore Fick, 78, Long Bottom, died Saturday, April 17, 1999, at his residence.
A surveyor technician, he was born April 2, 1921, in Chester, son of the late Dana F. and Bonnie Kimes Fick.  He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Disables American Veterans.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Kelly Fick of Chester, a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Lynn and Howard Bahr of Chester; a son, Dana Kelly Fick of North Royalton; a granddaughter; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Mickey fick of Chester and a sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Henry Wells of Pomeroy.
He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Scott Fick; a sister, Martha Marie Fick; two brothers, Edward and John Jacob Fick.
Services will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m. at Ewing Funeral Home, Pomeroy, with Pastor Donald C. Fritz officiating.  Burial will follow in Chester Cemetery.
Friends may call today, 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Meigs Branch of Holzer 
Hospice, Pomeroy.

Albert Fick

Albert, the thirteen year old son of Jacob Fick and wife, died Saturday morning, Dec 14, of diabetes.  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Shade Valley school house.  Interment in the Stout Cemetery.  Albert was a great favorite at home and at school, and his sudden death has cast a gloom over the neighborhood in which he lived.  Much sympathy is felt for his bereaved friends.

Mrs. Fick Stricken Dies Early Monday...
Mrs. Fred Fick, life-lomg resident of New Hope, near Chester, died unexpectedly at her home there early Monday.
Death resulted from a cerebral hemorrhage.  Stricken at 6 o'clock Monday morning, she died shortly before 10 o'clock.
Surviving are her husband and three daughters:  Mrs. Emma Will and Mrs. Frances Warner, of Pomeroy; and Mrs. Lewis Kautz, of Columbus.  She also leaves four sisters.


 
MARTHA FICK
1912 - 1935

New Hope
May 13, Martha Fick, daughter of Dana Fick and wife, passed away at a Pittsburg hospital early Monday morning.  Her cousin, Robert Fick, found her overcome by gas in her home.  (There are a couple of sentences I can't read). Funeral services were held here Wednesday afternoon at Chester.  Those attending from a distance were: Mrs. George Edner, Lawrence Collins, Mrs. Harold Pike and son, Mark, Mrs. Charles Maeder, Miss Elva DePaul, of Pittsburg; Mr.  and Mrs. Ed Kimes and son Paul, of Athens; Mrs. Elizabeth Coleman, of Guysville; Mrs. John Meier, Middleport; Mrs. Kate Kimes, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kimes and daughter Betty.  Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Kimes, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Neutzling and daughters, Mrs. Sophia Lauderbach, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hess, Dayton Will and wife, Mrs. Francis Warner and daughter; Irene Summerfield, Clara Frecker, Mrs. Wendel Kautz, of Pomeroy; Wiley Miller and wife, Margaret Taylor, of Rutland, Robert and Ella Fick, of Pittsburg, who will stay for _____.
Funeral service were held on Wednesday afternoon at the Chester Church and Burial was made in the Chester Cemetery.
